The Fish Room

Welcome to the heart of Hoffer's Tropic Life pets. The fish room spans approximately 8000 square feet of the store. 350 beautiful aquariums, koi pond, salt water tide pool, and massive displays are always waiting to greet you. The sound of the flowing water, chirping of the birds from the bird rooms, and realistic ruins of Angkor will tingle your senses and provide for an exciting yet relaxing visit.

Our staff is always ready to help you with any fish/aquatic need. As in every department, we staff only the best in our industry to help you, and we focus on education both with our employees as well as with our customers. Fish keeping is an ever changing world, and at Hoffer's Tropic Life Pets, you can be sure we're up to date on the newest of species of fish and the latest products to best show off your prize aquarium. Our staff will take the time needed to meet your ever changing needs, from water testing to problem solving over a baffling issue, to helping you to select "just the right addition" for your existing tank. We are always eager to teach the basics with your very first tank. Our #1 goal is to make your experience in fish keeping the best it can possibly be, for you and for the fish.

Joe's Fish Room is not just about fish. Live plants are a world all their own, and we stock our numerous tanks generously with the healthiest plants we can find anywhere! Our staff is here to teach you the ideal conditions for your plants as well as your fish! We can introduce you to the latest technology has to offer in keeping plants, fish, and even the beautiful coral reef tanks thriving and beautiful.

Unsure of what is presently in your aquarium? Bring a picture of fish and/or plant to our fish room and ask our staff to help properly identify it for you. If you bring us the pictures we are always happy to help!
