It's time to fill the tank, when can I add my fish safely?

The Fish Room staff at Hoffer's Tropic Life Pets advises a wait of 3 - 5 days
after filling any aquarium with water before adding the first fish. This gives
the water conditioner a chance to circulate and do it's intended job in removal
of harmful agents found in our tap water. The wait period also allows time for
water to heat evenly to the proper temperature, and to ensure that all equipment
is working properly. When you're ready for fish, we suggest starting with a
hearty species that will work nicely with your chosen favorites to begin your
cycling phase. Joe's Fish Room is always ready for any new tank, with a variety
of "starter fish" to choose from. Our expert staff can help lead you through
which species will work best for your chosen situation, and can offer
suggestions and care tips along the way. Our #1 goal is to help you to be
successful with your new hobby!
